Hao Zhu, PhD, a professor of Biomedical Informatics and Genomics at Tulane University School of Medicine, has been named a recipient of the prestigious AACT Distinguished Chinese Toxicologist Award. This award honors an accomplished toxicologist of Chinese descent within the AACT community, as chosen by the American Association of Chinese in Toxicology Award Committee, to recognize outstanding contributions in the field of toxicology. Dr. Zhu’s research uses data and artificial intelligence to predict how chemicals work and whether they could be harmful. His work has earned multiple awards and recognition for its impact.
