Chancellor Donald, MD, a leading hematologist and Medical Director of Cancer Management and Oncology services at Tulane University School of Medicine, has been elected to the American Society of Hematology’s (ASH) Executive Committee. Dr. Donald will serve as a councilor, with his term beginning following the ASH Annual Meeting in December 2024 in San Diego, California,
In his new role, Dr. Donald will focus on health equity and advocacy for patients with hematologic disorders, particularly those facing disparities in access to care. Dr. Donald has been a dedicated member of ASH since 2008, having previously chaired ASH’s Committee on Practice and served as an appointed member of the Health Equity Task Force.
