Amanda Watters, MS, a third-year medical student at Tulane University School of Medicine, was awarded the Women in STEM Scholarship by the Zonta Club of Lafayette. They recently held their 40th annual Women of Achievement Banquet and awarded several scholarships to woman in the community. The club is a member of Zonta International, a global organization that works to empower women and girls through service and advocacy.
